About Sonoran Septic

Sonoran Septic connects homeowners in Maricopa and Pinal counties with independent licensed septic contractors. We are a marketing and matching service. We do not dig, install, pump, inspect or repair anything, and we are not a licensed contractor.

Who operates this site

Sonoran Septic is operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered company doing business as Compass Lead Group. You can reach us at compassleadgroup@gmail.com. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Mountain Standard, which in Arizona means the same clock all year, since the state does not observe daylight saving.

What we do

We publish what we can verify about septic systems in this part of Arizona, and we route homeowners to contractors who do the work. When you submit the form, your details go to an independent licensed septic contractor who covers your county. They contact you to schedule a free quote. You are never charged, and you are under no obligation to hire anyone.

We are paid a referral fee by the contractor, not by you, and that fee does not change your price. The full arrangement is on how we make money.

What we do not do

How we decide what goes on a page

Arizona septic content is unusually error-prone, because the rules are specific and widely paraphrased. So we work from primary sources: the Arizona Administrative Code text itself, ADEQ, the Registrar of Contractors, Maricopa County Environmental Services and Pinal County. Three habits follow from that:

Everything on this site reflects our reading of the sources as of July 2026. It is general information, not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for asking the agency that governs your property. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Where to start

If you are selling, start with the transfer inspection guide. If you are replacing or building, start with the lot suitability guide. Either way, the Arizona Septic System Guide is the full picture.
